WorkKeys Exam
STARTING YOUR JOURNEY AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The WorkKeys Exam, developed by ACT, is a job skills assessment designed to measure essential workplace skills. Many employers and educational institutions use it to determine a candidate's readiness for various jobs.

To be an eligible candidate for a career in law enforcement, the WorkKeys Exam is required if you do not have an Associates Degree or higher.

Opposed to other institutions, The Personnel Board of Jefferson County offers free WorkKeys testing for aspiring law enforcement candidates.
